Delivery Information
Depending on the warehouse from which your products are dispatched, delivery times may vary.
For shipments within Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia and Slovenia delivery usually takes 24h–5 working days.
For other EU member states (except islands), delivery usually takes 2–7 working days, counted from the conclusion of the contract (or receipt of payment where advance payment applies).
Deliveries outside the EU/EEA follow different timelines. Small parcel shipments normally take 4–10 working days, while palletised or bulky items may take up to 30 days or more, depending on customs clearance in the destination country. Deliveries are not made on Sundays or public holidays.
If your order contains items with different availability or lead times, all items will be dispatched together unless otherwise agreed. In this case, the delivery time for the entire order corresponds to the item with the longest lead time.
We provide indicative online shipping rates for a range of EU countries including Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Croatia, Finland, Estonia, Bulgaria, Greece and Romania.
Shipping to islands or other international locations are possible only via the Customer’s own freight forwarder. We do not deliver to military postcodes.
Special Delivery Notes
-
Bulky goods: Items marked as bulky are always shipped by freight forwarder. For destinations outside the EU/EEA and for islands, the Customer must provide their own forwarder; we deliver only to that designated forwarder.
-
Long goods: Items exceeding 1.2 m in length are subject to a long goods surcharge of €55. These shipments are normally handled by freight forwarding and are subject to minimum freight charges up to 100 kg, plus the surcharge.
-
VAT: All shipping and handling charges shown in our webshop are exclusive of VAT as required under EU rules.
Returns and Exchanges
For business customers (B2B), returns and exchanges are not a legal right but are handled under our contractual GSTC. Returns are therefore only possible if expressly agreed with the Supplier in advance.
For retail buyers (B2C – consumers) within the EU — if accepted as a customer and with an account confirmed in writing by one of our representatives — the statutory right of withdrawal applies Consumers may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason.
B2B Return Rules
-
Returns from business customers are accepted only as a voluntary concession of the Supplier, not as a legal right. In all cases requires an approved and signed MRA (Material Return Authorization) issued by the Supplier.
-
Standard return period is 30 days from delivery if the goods are unused, in their original packaging, and resalable.
-
As a goodwill exception, and only with prior written approval, returns may be accepted up to 3 months after delivery.
-
The Customer bears the costs and risks of return shipment, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
-
Goods must arrive at the Supplier’s designated return address within 14 days of MRA approval.
-
Upon inspection and approval, the Customer will receive a credit note at the net value of the returned goods minus a 10% handling fee. Credits are offset against future invoices; no cash refunds are issued.
Conditions Where Returns Are Not Accepted
Returns cannot be accepted if:
-
The goods were custom-made, configured as a package/kit for the Customer, or otherwise tailored to specific needs.
-
Original documentation, accessories, warranty card, or invoice are missing.
-
Packaging is damaged or missing.
-
The product or its accessories are damaged, unpacked, or no longer resalable as new.
In cases where the type of product requires special handling (e.g. solar panels, batteries, inverters), the Supplier may require the use of approved carriers (currently DHL, GLS, Dachser, TNT, Gebrüder Weiss) for any authorized return.
Refunds
Once the return is inspected and accepted, repayment or crediting will be made within the timeframe required by EU law and in line with our GSTC.
Transport Damage and Discrepancies
The Customer is required to inspect all goods at the time of delivery. Any transport damage, shortages, or discrepancies must be noted directly on the delivery note or CMR document upon receipt. This requirement is necessary to preserve the Customer’s rights against carriers and insurers. Failure to record visible damage does not shift risk back to the Supplier, as risk has already passed upon dispatch according to our GSTC.
All matters regarding delivery, transport, return, refund or credit are governed by the General Service Terms and Conditions (GSTC). In the event of conflict, the GSTC prevails.
Most asked FAQs by 3Buy customers
You can track every order from your account area and from the shipping confirmation email once your solar panels, solar inverter, solar battery / energy storage, or complete kits are dispatched.
If you can’t find tracking, check:
-
your order status in your account
-
the dispatch email (tracking link may arrive separately for pallet freight)
-
whether the order is still “processing” because one item is on longer lead time
If tracking looks wrong or you need help, contact support with your order number, delivery postcode, and carrier name (DHL / GLS / Dachser).
Not necessarily. It’s common for scans to pause during hub transfers, cross-border movements, or pallet handovers (especially for Dachser freight).
If tracking shows no movement for 72 hours (business days), contact us and we’ll open a carrier investigation. Please include:
-
order number
-
tracking number
-
delivery address & phone number
-
photos if the shipment shows as delivered but you didn’t receive it
Typical delivery times depend on the dispatch warehouse, destination country, and whether your goods ship as parcel (DHL/GLS) or pallet freight (Dachser or similar).
As a general guide:
-
Mainland EU deliveries often arrive within 2–7 working days after dispatch
-
Nearby warehouse regions can be faster
-
Pallet freight may require delivery booking and can take longer than parcels
Delivery times are estimates and can be impacted by peak season, customs, island routing, or remote areas.

No. Deliveries are made on business days only. If you order around public holidays, expect an extra delay due to carrier schedules and warehouse closures.
We ship to most mainland EU/EEA destinations and the UK, depending on product type and transport rules.
Important limitations:
-
Islands and certain remote regions may require the customer’s own freight forwarder
-
Military postcodes are not served
If your checkout doesn’t show a shipping option, contact us and we’ll confirm the correct routing for your solar PV supplier order.
-
DHL / GLS (Parcel): best for smaller solar PV components and accessories, typically under the carrier’s parcel limits. Faster scanning and easy tracking.
-
Dachser (Freight / Pallet): used for solar panels, many solar inverters, solar battery / energy storage shipments, oversized goods, and complete kits. Best for safety, pallet integrity, and high-value items.
We choose the shipping method based on weight, size, value, and dangerous goods requirements.
Solar panels are normally delivered on a pallet, strapped and protected for transport. This is the safest method to avoid microcracks and handling damage.
Please ensure:
-
a safe unloading area
-
access for a pallet truck / tail-lift delivery where required
-
someone is present to inspect and sign
Solar battery and energy storage shipments may be classified as regulated goods and are typically shipped via pallet freight for safety and compliance.
This may require:
-
additional handling and labeling
-
longer lead time compared to parcels
-
delivery booking and signature on arrival
For large energy storage or multiple units, freight delivery is standard.
For some destinations and freight routes, delivery date/time booking is possible for an additional fee. Availability depends on carrier routing and whether the shipment is parcel or pallet freight.
Yes. For solar panels, solar inverter shipments, solar battery / energy storage, and complete kits, someone must be present to:
-
inspect the goods
-
sign the delivery document (POD/CMR)
If nobody is available, the carrier may attempt redelivery or return the shipment, and extra costs may apply.
Always inspect BEFORE signing:
-
pallet condition, straps, wrapping
-
visible box damage, dents, punctures
-
solar panel corner protection, glass condition
-
number of cartons/pallets vs delivery note
If you find visible damage or missing items, write it clearly on the delivery note/CMR and take photos immediately.
Act immediately:
-
Note the issue on the delivery document before signing (e.g., “pallet crushed”, “2 cartons missing”, “panel glass cracked”).
-
Take photos of:
-
pallet from all sides
-
labels & tracking stickers
-
damage close-up
-
-
Contact us the same day with your order number and photos.
Without written notes on the delivery document for visible damage, carriers often reject claims.
First check with reception, neighbors, or site staff. Then contact us right away with:
-
order number
-
tracking number
-
delivery address
-
any CCTV availability (if relevant)
We will open a carrier trace procedure.
By default, orders are usually dispatched together unless otherwise agreed. If one item has a longer lead time, it can hold the entire shipment. If you need partial shipment for urgent components (e.g., solar inverter first, panels later), contact us before dispatch to request split shipping (additional costs may apply).
If the shipment has not been dispatched, we can usually update the address.
If it has already shipped, changes may be limited or impossible depending on the carrier (especially for pallet freight). Contact us immediately—address changes after dispatch can cause delays and extra fees.
Yes. Very long items (such as certain mounting rails) may trigger a long-goods surcharge and/or freight routing, even if the order contains other parcel-sized products. This is normal for solar wholesaler logistics.
Not always. Some products and destinations cannot be priced perfectly by automated checkout rules (especially pallets, mixed orders, long goods, or energy storage).
Your account manager may confirm final logistics costs on a Pro-Forma Invoice (PFI) or official invoice. Only pay against the official documents issued by us.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, transport risk can pass according to the applicable delivery terms for your order. If you need full-value insurance arranged, request it before dispatch. For high-value solar panels, solar inverter shipments, solar batteries, and complete kits, insurance is strongly recommended.
Yes—local pickup is available for selected solar PV components, solar inverter orders, solar batteries, energy storage systems, and complete kits from designated European warehouses only. Pickup requires:
-
confirmed order status
-
pickup appointment / confirmation
-
valid identification and order reference
Returns are handled according to the applicable terms for your account type and order conditions.
B2B (installers/EPC/resellers):
-
Returns are not automatic and require prior approval
-
A signed MRA (Material Return Authorization) is required
-
Goods must be unused, complete, and in original packaging
-
A handling/restocking fee may apply
-
Credit is typically issued as a credit note, not a cash refund
B2C (where accepted as a consumer account and confirmed in writing):
-
The statutory withdrawal rules may apply within the legal period, provided conditions are met.
Always contact us before sending anything back.
Returns are usually not accepted for:
-
custom-configured complete kits or project-specific bundles
-
used, installed, or opened items that are not resalable as new
-
goods with missing accessories, documents, or damaged packaging
-
products damaged by improper handling, storage, or installation
For sensitive or regulated categories (solar panels, solar batteries / energy storage, and many solar inverters), we may require an approved carrier to protect the goods and ensure compliance. If your return is approved, we will confirm the correct return routing and labeling requirements.
After the returned goods arrive, they must be inspected and approved. Processing time depends on product type and warehouse workload. Once approved, repayment/crediting is issued according to the applicable terms and legal requirements.
Yes. If you tell us what you’re ordering and the delivery destination, we can recommend the most reliable option (parcel vs pallet) for your solar PV supplier order—especially for mixed baskets containing solar panels, solar inverter units, solar battery / energy storage, and complete kits.
