Yes. Multiple X3-HAC-7 units can be deployed in residential, commercial, or public charging projects. Thanks to OCPP 1.6J compatibility and dynamic load control, chargers can be centrally managed and safely operated on the same grid connection.
The new SolaX Gen.2 chargers support direct communication with each other, allowing them to share information about the point of delivery.
This parallel operation requires identical power versions and firmware version 1.12 or higher.
Wiring Diagram
1. Direct connection to the inverter
The chargers are connected via the green connector block located at the bottom of the charger near the grid terminals, as follows:
From the primary charger (connected to the inverter) RS485-2 A + RS485-2 B ports to the secondary charger RS485-1 A + RS485-1 B ports.
The primary charger connects to the inverter either via the RJ45 port or via the RS485-1 A + RS485-1 B ports.
The wiring diagram is as follows:

2. Connection option with CT (Current Transformer)
It is also possible for the primary charger to connect to its own measurement device and control the secondary charger accordingly.
The primary charger connects either to its own CT via RJ45 (CT or energy meter) or to an RS485-1 energy meter.
The chargers interconnect as follows: from the primary charger RS485-2 A + RS485-2 B to the secondary charger RS485-1 A + RS485-1 B.
The wiring diagram is then as follows:
Configuration
The setup is carried out only on the primary charger, as follows:
Parallel function → ENABLE
Power ratio → 1:1
(Note: This defines power sharing if both chargers are operating simultaneously and the grid capacity is limited.)

Parallel operation of two chargers works as follows:
The secondary charger automatically replicates the operating mode set on the primary charger.
The 7.2 kW charger is certified to IEC 61851-1:2017, IEC 62196-2:2016, and CE standards. It includes integrated current leakage protection and meets BS 7671:2018 requirements, ensuring compliance with EU safety regulations.
